Known for crafting gourmet, made-fresh-daily do-nuts for more than 85 years, Shipley’s has five locations in their plans. The first of them will open in Q4 of this year at 5919 S Orange Blossom Trail, where it will neighbor a Dunkin’ Donuts, Charley’s Philly Steaks and Burger King.

Michael Burns, leader of MLD Hospitality, is quoted in a prepared statement: “The do-nuts are so fresh — like your mom just made them and served them to you still warm. Nothing on the market compares, and we think the people of Orlando, plus the many visitors to the area, will embrace Shipley Do-Nuts just as we did.”

Burns also said that he believes Orlando could host up to 50 Shipley’s locations.

What Now reached out to Burns to gather more information about the expansion, but as of now, more details hasn’t been made available. Read the release in QSR here.
