Portuguese Concept Planned for Aventura

Old Lisbon, a Portuguese restaurant with several South Florida locations, is planning to open an outpost in Aventura. What Now confirmed recent leasing data with owner Carlos Silva, who commented that the location should appear sometime this summer.

According to Silva, their team just signed the lease and gained access to the future restaurant space. They hope to begin construction soon. The address will be 2960 NE 199th St, in the Aventura Shopping Center, neighboring eateries like: 800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen and CVI.CHE. 

The concept’s first location originated in Miami, when Silva’s father, a native Portuguese, opened with the goal of the serving authentic cuisine. The concept is now opening its third location in central Florida after 30 years of business in the Miami area.

Centered around serving seafood in the authentic Portuguese tradition, they will offer codfish, octopus and much more. Their menu items can be browsed on the website.
