Popeye’s, like most other chicken-centered fast casual restaurants, features a menu of fried chicken combos, boneless chicken wings and tenders, chicken sandwiches, and a range of appetizers such as cajun fries, coleslaw, red beans and rice, and homestyle mac & cheese.

The restaurant will be run by Sun Holdings Inc., a massive restaurant operating group which runs a wide array of notable American fast casual restaurants.

According to the official website, the group states “We have developed a portfolio that operates over 1,740 Locations in 12 States creating more than 22,000 jobs. Today, the organization operates 141 Burger King, 169 Popeyes, 212 Arby’s, 36 IHOP, 6 Golden Corral, 67 McAlister’s, over 500 T-Mobile, 167 Papa John’s, 131 Applebee’s, 55 GNC locations, 143 Taco Bueno, 3 restaurants in various airports, as well as approximately 160 real estate units and over 20 parcels of land for future restaurants.”

What Now Orlando reached out to representatives of Sun Holdings Inc. to inquire about the restaurant’s opening date and other potential plans for Central Florida expansions, but they were not immediately available for comment.
