Papa John’s Senior Communications Manager Harrison Sheffield confirmed to What Now Orlando Tuesday that the corporate-owned-and-operated company will be opening a 1,546 square-foot store at 5645 State Road 46 in Sanford.
Louisville, Kentucky-based Papa John’s International is headed by CEO Rob Lynch, who joined the company in 2019. With the slogan “Better Ingredients. Better Pizza. Papa John’s,” the brand’s focus is on using quality ingredients to deliver a quality product.
Menu items include hand-crafted pizzas and papadias, inspired by piadina, which are folded Italian flatbread sandwiches that come from Northern Italy. Papa John’s customers can also order jalapeño popper rolls, garlic knots, cheesesticks, wings and more, in addition to dessert.
The new location in Sanford is expected to open in early 2022 and will employ 30-40 new Papa John’s team members.
