Owner Fils Alphonse hopes to use Burrrberries to introduce desert experiences he’s garnered in other cities. In an interview with What Now on Tuesday, Alphonse shared, “I’ve been around, traveled a lot. I’ve seen a lot of things in different places, and I just want to incorporate [them] into my town.”

The shop will be located at 5270 Babcock Street Unit 37, in the Market Place at Palm Bay shopping center, next to Winn-Dixie.

Alphonse has several years experience working in the restaurant and food service industry, but this is his first time owning an establishment. In the process of leasing the unit, Alphonse stated that they will begin readying the inside by installing new flooring and painting the walls.

His hope is to open the doors in the first two weeks of March. A recent plan review filing with the city is still “in process.”

While discussing his vision for Burrrberies, Alphonse said: “I want to bring a different feeling, a different vibe to the area. Especially for the youth.”
