Orlando Brewing, which has been serving “darn good beer since 2006,” is planning to move across town in the coming months, according to a report from Bungalower. In addition to this move, the brand is partnering with a restaurant group to bring a concept to the Orlando International Airport.

The new location for the brewery will be 5368 International Drive, which will be about 7-8 miles from its original location at 1301 Atlanta Avenue. It will near Hash House, Cheers Sports Bar & Liquor Store and Vault 5421.

The move is being prompted by Orlando Health’s take-over of the original space on Atlanta Avenue. According to the report, Owner John Cheek has until July 5 to vacate the building, and July 4 will be the brand’s last day of operation.

Cheek spoke to What Now on Thursday and confirmed that he is hoping to have the new location open by September. “But that all depends on permitting and licensing and construction,” Cheek said.

In other news, Cheek shared that they are partnering with a restaurant group to bring a concept to the airport that will serve Orlando Brewing’s organic beers. More info about this concept isn’t available at this time.
