V’s was founded in 1999 by Jim Valenzuela, who was looking for an authentic, old-fashioned barbershop experience to share with his young son. From the classic barber pole out front to the antique barber chairs and barbers dressed in black uniforms, customers come for the nostalgia that a full-service barbershop brings.

In addition to haircuts, V’s offers hot lather, straight-edge razor shaves, facials and massage, and mustache and bread trims. Packages are available as well. The Big Day package for grooms and their groomsmen includes a haircut and shave along with cigars on the house. Select locations offer shoe shine services as well.

The V’s Barbershop franchise has grown to include locations in multiple states. Lawrence Johnson is listed as the franchise owner of the 1,332 square-foot O-Town West location. Johnson also owns a V’s Barbershop in Windermere, according to previous media coverage.

The Village at O-Town West includes 80,000 square feet of commercial space. Unicorp National Developments Inc. is listed as the leasing agent.
