The national drive-up fast casual chain, Sonic, will soon be opening a new Winter Garden location, according to a recent filing with the State of Florida. The restaurant will be located at 13372 Hartzog Road, in a newly-developing part of town. The nearest eatery is a Domino’s Pizza.

Sonic is known for its thorough menu of fast casual American classics such as burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, and sandwiches, along with milkshakes, slushes, lemonades, and other drink choices. Most Sonic locations are designed for customers to drive up to and order, then eat in their cars or head home. Some Sonic locations feature recreational facilities such as volleyball courts or playgrounds for children.
What Now Orlando reached out to franchisee Cade Mlondinoff who, unfortunately, was not interested in answering questions about the location. What is known, however, is that Mr. Mlondinoff will be running the location through his management company Drive-in Capital.
The company is described on Mr. Mlondinoff’s LinkedIn as “an operations-centric management company focused in the Quick Service Restaurant segment. Drive-in’s goal is to scale multi-unit franchises from nationally recognized legacy brands. In addition to opportunistic new store development, our core investment criteria is centered around value acquisitions. Our leadership and veteran operations team works to identify undervalued cash-flow positive businesses, develops turn-around plans and partners alongside the brands themselves to create the runway necessary for successful recovery and sustainable long-term revenue growth, allowing for these operations to thrive for decades to come.”
Until the new Sonic opens its doors, curious readers and partners can visit the two existing Orlando locations on International Dr and Semoran Blvd.
