According to co-franchisee Zabdiel Bernier, he and co-franchisee Sandra Castillo signed in January to open three new Mooyah locations in the Orlando area, starting with a 2,200-square-foot Mount Dora restaurant. The franchise will be located within a shopping center off 17280 US Highway 441, near other fast-casual eateries such as Chick-Fil-A and Jersey Mike’s Subs. It will have a seating capacity for 65 in addition to an outdoor patio, according to Mr. Bernier.

Mr. Bernier informs WhatNow Orlando that both the franchise and the franchisees have submitted necessary paperwork to the landlord and are now awaiting construction to begin. The franchisees are aiming for a February 2023 opening date.

Founded in Plano, TX in 2007, Mooyah has 83 U.S. locations across 24 states, and eight international locations in Canada and the Middle East.

Mooyah’s menu boasts a varied burger-joint menu featuring Angus beef, turkey patties, vegan patties and hot dogs. Guests are able to custom-order their burger with a varied selection of toppings and sauces. For dessert, Mooyah serves milkshakes with flavors spanning from vanilla to Reese’s, Oreo’s and more. In addition to dine-in and takeout, Mooyah provides catering services.
