What Now Orlando briefly reached out to Josh Henderson, CEO of Bonnet Springs Park, who informed that the new events center will be a “catered opportunity.”

“We have a venue that seats up to 400 but the caterer is selected by the guest renting the facility,” Mr. Henderson tells What Now Orlando. “We have a list of approved caterers and we do not have an in-house catering department.”

Bonnet Springs park in itself is an impressive new development in the state of Florida. Repurposed from Lakeland’s historic but derelict railyards, the ambitious and modern park will span 168 acres, just 45 minutes from downtown Orlando. The park will feature several playgrounds and lawns, a children’s museum, a lagoon with a boardwalk, a greenhouse, a treehouse, a peace pagoda and a multitude of other public spaces and facilities sure to elevate the quality of life for Central Floridians.

The park’s grand opening is slated for October 22.
