Within the next six months, Lazik, along with five other business partners, plan to revamp the four venues into new and exciting concepts. Sideshow will be the first to see progress. According to Lazik, they will begin construction on the space as soon as tomorrow.

The concept will be a hybrid between a club and a bar. Lazik describes it as a “high-energy bar.” Waitiki and Cantina will also see similar concepts, with a focus on making them more casual and “facilitating to the street.” Cantina will still have a restaurant-style atmosphere, and Waitiki will favor a more traditional bar scene.

The predominant theme seems to be outdoor seating and accommodations, and guests can expect to find some beer-garden style traditions once the new concepts are rolled out.

The purchase was made from Joel Springman, who is still operating Hooch, The Hen House and Shine in the plaza, according to Bungalower.
