With over 15 locations in and Orlando already, Marco’s Pizza is set to be a major destination for pizza in the city. The brand which is known for its build-your-own pizzas, specialty pizzas, subs, and pizza bowls will be even more accessible in Orlando by the end of the year.

Founded in 1978 by Italian-born Pasquale (“Pat”) Giammarco, Marco’s gains its customers trust by being the only national pizza franchise founded by an Italian. In fact, Marco’s Pizza is the U.S.’s “Most Trusted Pizza Brand”, according to the 2019 Harris Poll EquiTrend® Study.

Florida has a special place for Marco’s Pizza which recently opened its 1,000th location in Kissimmee on 1724 Chaps Place. The brand’s 1,000th store is operated by franchisees Kattya Barbaran and Rafi Vargas, who opened the store in October of 2020.

“We’ve built an incredible culture and look forward to the growth opportunities that lie ahead in our journey to the next 1,000,” said President and CEO Tony Libardi to The Orlando Sentinel about their 1,000th store. “As a people-first organization, we wanted to celebrate this achievement with those who have helped us throughout our journey. This people-first mentality has been the secret to our long-term success – it’s our passionate franchisees, dedicated team members, and loyal customers who have propelled this brand to greatness.”
