That’s a lot of pizza. Good thing it’s tasty! Marco’s Pizza hails from just outside of Toledo, where it was founded in 1978 in Oregon, Ohio.  The pizza joint slings all the traditional pies, like pepperoni, all-meat, and garden. You can also find a Hawaiian Chicken pie and a White Cheezy pie, both of which feature, among other ingredients, bacon.

Marco’s also serves up something they like to call the pizza bowl. This tasty development is a crustless pie baked into a bowl and can be made in any of the aforementioned varieties. Subs, salads, and sides also adorn the fast-casual eatery’s menu.

The Tampa expansion will kick-off with two locations. The first will debut in Tarpon Springs at 1147 Pinellas Ave; the second will open in Dundee at 28065 Highway 27. Both are slated to open early in the first quarter of 2022.

MPZ Holdings, LLC hopes to have all 15 stores in operation by 2024, with five opening yearly.

“The pandemic made it clear that consumer demand for quick and delicious carryout and delivery options was here to stay,” lead investor of MPZ Holdings, LLC said in a press release. “Already impressed by the quality of Marco’s Pizza and its exceptional leadership team, we knew timing was right to further invest and be aggressive with growth. Equipped with a proven business model, we’re well on our way to developing these locations over the next three years.”
