Mandola’s Italian Kitchen has teamed up with Florida businessman and World of Beer CEO Paul Avery to bring the Florida expansion to fruition. “We think we’ve got something that has extraordinary growth potential,” Avery told What Now on Tuesday. “It’s a great price value. The food is fantastic; Damien is a really extraordinary culinary talent. The atmosphere is energetic and lively.”

In addition to the grocery and Italian fare, the concept will include a café, which will offer fresh, in-house made cookies, cakes, pies and other baked goods. Also, expect to find house-made gelato.

Director of Operations for Mandola’s, David Rosenberger, told OBJ that they are in the process of securing locations in Oveido, Lake Nona, Lakeland and Reunion. Other non-Orlando locations are planned for Oldsmar, Odessa and Jacksonville.

According to plan review filings with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the Oldsmar location will be at 3138 Tampa Road. The Odessa unit will appear at 16080 Preserve Marketplace Boulevard. No addresses are available for the Orlando-area units as of now.
