Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream is opening another location inside what once was Bruno Bagel and Foxtail Coffee at 3405 Edgewater Drive. This is in the wake of Bruno Bagel’s departure from the space, which we learned about from Bungalower here

According to Foxtail and Kelly’s spokesperson, Beth Cocchiarella, they have not begun retrofitting the ice cream counter into the building, but she suspects that they will have the shop up and running in 60 days. It will operate similarly to other ice cream counters that Kelly’s has in Howell Brand and the Milkhouse.

The chain, which has five full scoop shops and three ice cream counters, began as a food truck that would appear at local farmer’s markets. The owners, couple Kelly and Scott Seidl, opened their first location in Audubon Park in 2015 and have become Orlando favorites, according to Cocchiarella.

The space at 3405 Edgewater Drive will also become a test kitchen for Foxtail Coffee as they increase their expansion initiative across the state. The company will use the kitchen left vacant by Bagel Bruno’s departure.
