Expect to find more of the dessert franchise in Central Florida soon. What Now on Wednesday connected with Chris Blatz, a franchisee with the Jeremiah’s Italian Ice brand who is opening several new locations.
The first of the locations will be located in Osceola County at 3837 Pleasant Hill Rd, in the Publix Shopping Center plaza. It will neighbor the nearby restaurants McDonald’s, NY Bagel & Deli and Mama Romano’s.
Blatz is hoping to open the unit by early August. The other locations will appear in St. Cloud and Champion’s Gate. They are planned to open in early 2023 and early 2024, respectively. A location has been selected for a new construction to host the St. Cloud location, but the address is not available.
“I’ve been a fan of the brand for 15+ years,” Blatz commented. “For about 15 years, I’ve been reaching out to the owner of the brand saying, ‘dude, you need to franchise, and I would like to be your first franchisee.’” Now, Blatz is arranging to open his franchised locations of Jeremiah’s Italian Ice soon.
