Orlando Business Journal reported recently that Krispy Kreme is moving into town after recognizing a massive local appetite for the treats. Hopefully this next location, in addition to the six open units in the area, will be enough to satiate the community.

Expect to find it at 638 N. Alafaya Trail in the Alafaya Tower Shopping Center on what is now a vacant piece of land. According to the report, the new unit is proposed to be 1,400 square feet and include a drive-thru.

Nearby eateries in the shopping center will be The Halal Guys, Ahmed Indian Restaurant and Panda Express.

When construction will begin is unknown, but it seems this unit is early is its pre-opening stages.
