Kaya will focus on Filipino cuisine by Co-Founders Lo Lalicon and Jami Salonga Bailey. While we don’t have too many details about their coming menu, Kaya has done some testing through pop-ups with restaurant partners like Rocca in Tampa.

If their recent pop-up menu is anything like their upcoming Kaya plans, we should expect dishes that honor the archipelago terrain of the Philippines. Seafood dishes with distinct Filipino flavors, seasonal vegetables, and savory pork plates.

The team has been in full construction mode at the restaurant site, breathing new life into a classic house that will become Kaya’s home. Kaya has shared some photos of the extensive renovations they’ve taken on, stripping the building down to its foundation. They still have a way to go before the location will be ready and permitting is processed.

We’re still playing the waiting game on Kaya but Lalicon tells What Now Orlando they’re hoping to welcome in customers by Q2 2022. Stay updated by following Kaya Orlando on Instagram.
