Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. Acquires Deadwords

According to recent reporting in Bungalower, Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. has acquired select assets of the recently defunct Deadwords Brewing company.

The popular brewery, located at 23 N. Orange Blossom Trail filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on October 1, 2023, officially concluding its operations on April 27, 2024.

“We’ve had a rough go financially for the past year, and my personal ability to keep it afloat dried up,” owner David Satterfield stated.

Pointing to the future of the assets and their substance, CEO of Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co, Glenn Closson stated: 

“We are excited to announce the acquisition of Deadwords Brewing Company. This strategic move allows us to expand our portfolio and reach while staying true to our core values. We are committed to preserving the spirit of Deadwords Brewing Company and upholding the values and traditions they established while bringing our innovations to the table.”

No (re)opening deadline has been announced.
