“I have sixteen flavors of ice cream and pre-packaged foods,” owner Christopher MacDougall tells What Now Orlando, adding that there are “ice cream novelties” for those who are not interested in the hand-dipped ice creams–flavors such as Christmas Cookie, Candy Craze, Razzle Dazzle, and Peanutbutter and Jelly.

“I’m from New York and this is the town my grandmother lived in,” MacDougall says, explaining the store’s location.

“We recently moved down here, to the space coast, which is great because I’m a space guy myself.”

“The store is space themed, painted with fluorescent light that shines under purple UV lights,” MacDougall says, enthusing about the store’s atmosphere.

“We have a special painting of a space shuttle taking off and the flames glow–it’s amazing.”

So when will the store open?

“A week or two after Thanksgiving. Definitely in December.”
