Canton and her husband will open the first Gou-oui Cookies location in SoDo this fall. The 1,000 square-foot space at 1737 S. Orange Avenue is located next door to Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ.

Serving gourmet cookies with names like Chipper and Bonvoyage, customers keep coming back for the unique products Gou-oui has to offer. Using high-quality, local ingredients, the Gou-oui menu features five standard cookies, with a rotating cookie of the month.

July’s Cookie of the Month is the Dude, a snickerdoodle cookie stuffed with dulce de leche. The Florida is Gou-oui’s signature sugar cookie, topped with almond butter cream icing and blue sugar crystals and served chilled.

Since cookies call for a big glass of milk, that’s on the menu too, along with ice cream cookie sandwiches.
