“Sunday, June 2nd will be our last day at 110 W. Church St.,” he wrote on May 22.

On May 23 Paonessa followed up to Orlando Business Journal by saying, “Business has declined significantly over the last few years. The rents that are being charged are just not doable.”

“The hustle and bustle of downtown Orlando has given way to a sleepy city with few people working downtown and opting for remote, and less traffic in the evenings.”

Now, Paonessa and his co-owner Mike Rogier are scouting for a new spot.

“We have a cast on Sundays with dancers. It’s a big part of what we do,” he said. “The next venue is going to be one where we have a little more space to be able to do that and bring in good crowds.”

The duo is reportedly close to signing a new lease, though details are not yet available.
