The Tampa-based company has big ambitions for continued expansion. The forthcoming Lakeland area is one of four anticipated Florida locations set to open over the next year, according to their website.
The restaurant will appear in a new 2,706-square-foot construction at 4520 S. Florida Ave, next to a forthcoming ALDI supermarket, according to lkldnow.
Fresh Kitchen, which began in 2014 and has expanded into 10 locations, has operated with a commitment to bring Florida healthy and flavorful meals. Per their website: “We believe in serving fresh, high quality ingredients that nourish and energize your body. What we eat shapes our health, affects our appearance, and determines our disposition.”
All of their menu options are gluten-free, and they have clearly noted vegetarian, vegan and non-dairy selections. Their offerings also include fresh, house-pressed juices.
Fresh Kitchen is owned by the parent company Ciccio Restaurant Group, which has 11 other brands in their portfolio.
According to lkldnow, Fresh Kitchen President Steven Lanza didn’t have a specific timeline for when construction would start, other than sometime in 2022.
