What Now Orlando recently reached out to Co-Founder Alex Tchekmeian who says “We do not have an expected opening for Maitland Social but we are in the permitting phase, currently.”

Mr. Tcekmeian highlights the brand’s current explosive growth as they set to open an astonishing 15 locations within the next 90 days, just on the heels of opening their 46th location in St. Augustine. As the company expands across the country, they look forward to joining the Texas market in particular.

“We will be focusing on the Houston market out of the gates and will continue to expand into other Texas markets from there.”

Defining their mission statement on the company website, Tchekmeian and co-founder Iain Yeakle state “Alex and Iain launched Foxtail on simple and basic principles – to roast great coffee that guests can enjoy in an inviting and comfortable environment. Believing coffee should be purposeful, celebrated, and enjoyed, they built a company that approaches producing coffee as a craft and serving coffee as a celebration.”

Until the Maitland location opens its doors, readers can find the budding local brand all across central Florida — and in Newnan, Georgia.
