Ford’s Garage, the iconic restaurant with a 1920s service station vibe, will be coming to the development at Hamlin late fourth quarter 2021 according to Marc Brown, president of parent company 23 Restaurant Services.

The new location at 5375 Hamlin Groves Trail in Winter Garden is part of a 900-acre development encompassing more than 2 million square feet of commercial space with offices, single-family housing, and luxury apartments, as well as waterfront dining, shopping, and entertainment venues.

Branding itself a neighborhood burger and beer joint, Ford’s Garage is an experience in and of itself. Due to a licensing agreement with Ford Motor Company, locations include memorabilia like vintage Ford vehicles, gas pumps, and fixtures set against a backdrop of Prohibition-reminiscent brick, wood, and copper. Servers sport blue mechanic-style shirts, and even the restrooms get in on the fun with tire sinks.

Serving gourmet burgers like the Ford’s Signature with Tillamook aged sharp cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon, and bourbon BBQ sauce on a brioche bun, guests can expect USDA Black Angus beef made fresh to order, or substitute a veggie burger.

The menu also includes American comfort food like homemade meatloaf, chili, and a macaroni and cheese bar, as well as lighter fare like salads, soup, grilled chicken and fish.

Focusing on American Craft beers, Ford’s Garage advertises 150 varieties, with 40 on draft, as well as bottles, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drink options.

With 14 existing locations across Florida and two more in Michigan and Indiana, the brand reportedly plans to open an additional 15 franchises across six states by 2023, including in New York, Ohio, Texas, and Kentucky. According to previous media coverage, each Ford’s Garage restaurant location is approximately 8,900 square feet and employs between 90 and 140 employees.
