At the southern end of Lake Tracy, Don Criollo will appear at 201 E Hinson Avenue. Though it will not directly neighbor any other eateries, it is just down the street from Homestyle Chicken N Fish, City Caribbean Café and Pizza Hut.

The concept will be a hybrid of a full service model and walk-up counter service. Guests can choose to approach the counter and browse baked goods and food, order there and have their meals brought to them. Or, guests can sit with a menu and order with the waitstaff.

The business is in the plan review stage of pre-opening, and Graciani mentioned that they are finishing up their construction soon. Expect to find the Puerto-Rican concept open early sometime next month.
