Wonder what makes their ice cream so good? Well, there are many things but perhaps the most important is their premium ice cream is about 13 percent butterfat, 3 percent more than the USDA standard.

Cold Stone Creamery churns ice cream fresh in every store. And then the customer picks the add-ins of his or her choice —  including candy, cakes, fruits or nuts — and then they are mixed together on a frozen granite stone.

In February, the company revealed its 10 most-loved (ordered) flavors:

  1. Cake Batter
  2. Chocolate
  3. French Vanilla
  4. Sweet Cream
  5. Cheesecake
  6. Coffee
  7. Strawberry
  8. Mint
  9. Classic Cookie Dough
  10. Cotton Candy (seasonal)

Meanwhile, Birthday Cake Remix is at the top of the list of its Signature Creations, followed by Chocolate Devotion, Peanut Butter Cup Perfection, Founder’s Favorite and Coffee Lovers Only.

And, the top mix-ins? Brownies, followed closely by Oreo cookies and cookie dough.

Dairy, nut or egg allergy? No problem. They have gluten-free, lactose-free and low-fat options.
