It is one of three Orlando-area locations that will be opened by DEMA EATS LLC. The partners are Dave Sooklal, Elvis Baez, Mert Smith and Anddy Carmona. They are not yet sure about the locations of the other two franchises, Carmona said.

The popular chain has locations across the U.S. — including a couple in southeast Florida — and around the world — yes, you can even pick up a Chick’nCone in Dubai, UAE.

The waffle cones are filled with chicken nuggets tossed in the sauce of your choice, such as Cinna-Maple, traditional BBQ, tangy mustard BBQ, mildly-spicy ranch, buffalo sauce with a hint of blue cheese, or even a spicy South African chili sauce.

Carmona said he had other businesses but never restaurant franchises until a couple years ago when he and his partners started looking into getting into the franchise business. He said they not only hit it off with the Chick’nCone company owners — “there was a good vibe, a good feel,” he said — but they also loved the product. Waffle cones overflowing with delicious chicken nuggets.

“You can get spicy; you can get sweet; you can get salty. It’s a whirlwind of flavors,” he said.

The new location, which is being constructed by BDM Construction, should be open in spring of 2022, Carmona said.
