Checkers to Expand its Central Florida Footprint

“Checkers was born out of the idea that boring and bland have no place in the burger world. That's why we've been slinging the best burgers, crispiest fries and the creamiest milkshakes for a price that is hard to beat."

Defining themselves on their website, Checkers states “Checkers was born out of the idea that boring and bland have no place in the burger world. That’s why we’ve been slinging the best burgers, crispiest fries and the creamiest milkshakes for a price that is hard to beat. And because we believe flavor shouldn’t have a timeline, we’re open late every night of the week.”

Checkers specializes in a variety of classic fast casual American fare such as burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, wings, and french fries, with a unique dessert offering of cheesecake sundaes, funnel cake fries, and chocolate chip brookie (brownie + cookie).

What Now Orlando reached out to franchisee Salim Valiani, who runs several Central Florida locations, but he was not immediately available for comment.

Until the S John Young Parkway location opens its doors, readers and partners can find over a dozen locations of the restaurant around the Orlando metropolitan area.
