This is Lozito’s first foray into owning his own large scale brewery; however, he is by no means a beginner of the craft. Lozito shared in a phone conversation with What Now on Friday that he has been home-brewing for a decade, experimenting and honing the suds he will soon pour on a large-scale.

The family-owned taproom and gastropub will serve a variety of delicious foods conducive to beer drinking: house-made pretzels, braised pork belly, fried green tomatoes and much more. An eclectic menu of elevated pub food is the goal, according to Lozito. He and his chef share an Italian heritage and intend to also incorporate international street food into the offerings.

The work on the building is nearing completion, and then Lozito and his team can begin their build out. Lozito estimates an October opening.
