Burger King to Expand Orlando Footprint

The restaurant will be run by Sun Holdings Inc., a massive restaurant operating group which runs a wide array of notable American fast casual restaurants.

The internationally ubiquitous fast-casual burger chain Burger King will soon be expanding in Orlando, according to a recent plan review filed with the State of Florida. The restaurant will be located at 7730 Palm Parkway, within Suite 150, near Portillo’s Hot Dogs and White Castle.

Burger King, like most other burger-centered fast casual restaurants, features a menu of different burger styles, chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, along with ice cream, milkshakes, and other desserts. 

The restaurant will be run by Sun Holdings Inc., a massive restaurant operating group which runs a wide array of notable American fast casual restaurants. 

According to the official website, the group states “We have developed a portfolio that operates over 1,740 Locations in 12 States creating more than 22,000 jobs. Today, the organization operates 141 Burger King, 169 Popeyes, 212 Arby’s, 36 IHOP, 6 Golden Corral, 67 McAlister’s, over 500 T-Mobile, 167 Papa John’s, 131 Applebee’s, 55 GNC locations, 143 Taco Bueno, 3 restaurants in various airports, as well as approximately 160 real estate units and over 20 parcels of land for future restaurants.” 

What Now Orlando reached out to representatives of Sun Holdings Inc. to inquire about the restaurant’s opening date and other potential plans for Central Florida expansions, but they were not immediately available for comment.
