Bros With Hoes Plant Co., or BWH for short, is adding a much bigger and secondary location on Edgewater drive in College Park Main Street.
The greenery plans to open mid to late august says co-owner Kyle Kroeplin when reached on the phone. Kroeplin says he would love to open sooner but it all depends on construction.
The original BWH store resides in the hourglass district at 2415 Curry Ford road, but Kroeplin says the college park shop will be “4-5 times the current space.” They will be able to have a lot more merchandise and much bigger plants that they don’t have the space to offer right now.
Kroeplin used to do irrigation with his dad and would fix up yards, the work turned into a passion for plants. Once Kroeplin met his business partner and soon-to-be co-owner, Jason Paluzzi, through their wives Gail and Carlie, they hit it off immediately.
After a while of getting to know each other, they bounced around ideas of starting their own business and landed on the plant shop as it combines a ton of their interests and skills.
