The new location will be a welcome addition to the 90+ shops, restaurants and businesses that are a part of Avalon Park, the 1,860-acre neighborhood “nestled beside the serene, natural surroundings of the Econlockhatchee River.”

In sync with its surroundings, such as the man-made lakes that cover the area, Brix & Mortar — Avalon Park will feature an intimate atmosphere with water views.

Owned and operated by husband and wife duo Daniel and Alisa Valentine, Brix & Mortar’s menu will feature “wines [that] range from sweet to dry and red to white, with unique offerings such as warmed spiced wine, frozen wine slushies, and charcuterie boards.”

If this sounds as enticing to you as it does to me, know that they will hold Happy Hour between 5:00 and 7:00 pm, Mondays to Thursdays!
