The Korean fried chicken franchise is going to be opening a store on Mills 50, in between Colonialtown South and Park Lake/ Highland. The restaurant will be replacing the former Tasty Wok on 1246 E Colonial Dr.

The area is bustling with Vietnamese restaurants and businesses such as the grocery store Saigon Market, Ahn Hong Restaurant, Little Saigon and Pho 88 Vietnamese Restaurant. Other businesses on the strip include ViVi Bubble Tea, Chuan Lu Garden, TORI TORI and dessert shop Matcha Cafe Maiko.

bb.q chicken first launched in Korea in 1995 before making its way to the U.S. in 2014, “with a vision to be the best chicken franchise restaurant business in the USA,” according to their official website. A representative wasn’t available to comment on when the Orlando restaurant would be opening, but we can’t wait to dive into some fried chicken with a side of ddeok bokki.
