Owner Nilanga Dassanayake tells What Now Orlando there are plenty of options for Indian cuisine in the area but Banana Leaf will be the first and only restaurant to offer Sri Lankan food.

On the menu, you’ll find traditional Sri Lankan dishes like Pol Roti, a flatbread made with coconut, Deviled Chicken in a ginger-garlic sauce, rich curry dishes, and vegan dishes like the village-style green bean curry.

On weekends, Banana Leaf will offer buffet specials and Sunday brunch. Lunch specials will be offered during the week, and catering will be offered by request.

The Banana Leaf is in its early stages of planning and expected to open in July 2022. Find more information by visiting their Website and follow on Facebook for updates.
